I was born in China and moved here when I was 7. Like many kids of immigrant parents, I watched my parents work tirelessly to provide a life they could only dream of. I grew up working hard and playing it safe to minimize risks and ensure stability.

At 36, I watched Uncomfy Co videos and realized it was time to take a chance on my dreams. I wanted to pour my heart and soul into something I’ve loved my whole life—art. Creating fills me with peace and a sense of belonging that I never felt elsewhere.

Now, here I am—fraud investigator by day and clay artist by night. This journey is only made possible by the support of my husband, the COO of our company; my son, my daily inspiration; and our 12-year-old dog, Miah, my loyal clay partner.
